Riga Form
Riga finished second in the Latvian Virsliga last season, four points behind Valmiera. They have had a great start in 2023, winning five straight to sit top of the table.
Tomislav Stipic’s side got through two rounds in the Conference League qualifiers. They got past Víkingur Reykjavík in the first round, winning 2-0 at home before a 1-0 defeat in Iceland.
Riga lost 2-1 at Kecskemet in the second round first leg, winning 2-1 at home in the second leg where Mouhamed Ngom scored in the 120th minute to send them through 4-3 on aggregate.
Verdict
