Okan Buruk’s side returned to the Super Lig with a 1-0 win at Gaziantep. They then won 4-1 at Boluspor in the Turkish Cup, overcoming an early deficit with Álvaro Morata, Eyüp Aydin, Yusuf Demir and Ahmed Kutucu with the goals.

Gala were leading Adana Demirspor 1-0 on Sunday when their opponents walked off the pitch in protest at a penalty they thought favoured the home side.
