Manchester United are now the clear favourites to win the 2022-23 Europa League, according to bookmakers, after an impressive 5-1 aggregate victory over Real Betis in the round of 16.

The Red Devils are priced at 11/10 to lift the trophy, with Italian giants Juventus trailing behind at 9/2, followed by Roma at 7/1, and Sporting Lisbon and Bayer Leverkusen both at 10/1.

United are expected to face tough opposition in the quarter-finals, as they take on seasoned Europa League campaigners Sevilla. The Spanish side are priced at 12/1 to win the tournament, but United will be confident of their chances after some excellent performances in the competition so far. Marcus Rashford was particularly impressive in their win over Real Betis, and will be looking to continue his fine form in the knockout stages.

Sporting Lisbon are another side to watch, having secured an outstanding victory against Arsenal in the round of 16. The Portuguese side won on penalties in a fantastic performance, and will now face Juventus in the quarter-finals. The Italian side are also among the favourites to lift the trophy, thanks to a solid victory over German side Freiburg.

Meanwhile, Roma are also among the frontrunners after beating Real Sociedad 2-0 on aggregate. The Italian club are aiming to win European silverware once more after winning last season’s Europa Conference League, and will be confident of their chances in the tournament.

Bayer Leverkusen are also expected to progress to the semi-finals after drawing Belgian outfit Union Saint-Gilloise in the quarter-finals. The German side are priced at 10/1 to win the tournament, but will need to be at their best if they are to go all the way.

For those looking for value, Feyenoord could be a good bet after an impressive 7-1 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the round of 16. The Dutch side are priced at 13/1 to win the tournament, and will be hoping to continue their fine form in the knockout stages.

The Europa League quarter-final draw has now been made, with Manchester United set to face Sevilla, Juventus taking on Sporting Lisbon, Bayer Leverkusen drawing Union Saint-Gilloise, and Feyenoord set to face Roma. The quarter-finals will take place on April 13 and 20, followed by the semi-finals on May 11 and 18, before the final on May 31.
