Molde take on Arsenal in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday. A win for the Gunners will see them book their place in the last 32 with two games to spare.

Molde have enjoyed a solid domestic season overall, finding themselves second in the Norweigan Eliteserien table.

They have also had some early success in the Europa League too, winning two of their opening three group games to leave them second in the group.

The Norweigan side come into this game off the back of an impressive run of seven wins in their last nine matches in all competitions.

Molde will be unable to call upon Ohi Omoijuanfo and Kristoffer Haraldseid once again for this huge Europa League match.

Arsenal are currently languishing in 12th in the Premier League table after picking up just four points from their last five matches.

Mikel Arteta’s side have struggled to create and convert chances of late, having scored just one goal in their last five matches - that being a penalty from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

In the Europa League, however, the Gunners have made light work of what was admittedly a favourable group that they were drawn into. 

Arsenal have won all three of their Europa League group matches so far, scoring nine goals in those wins. 

Arsenal’s significant injury list will see them without Calum Chambers, Pablo Mari, Sead Kolasinac, Mohamed Elneny, Thomas Partey, Bukayo Saka, Willian and Gabriel Martinelli.

The two teams have only met once before, that being the 4-1 win that Arsenal enjoyed in the Europa League last time out.

Arsenal are favourites to win here at 1.70, while Molde can be backed at 4.75. The draw is available at 4.00.

Molde were well beaten by Arsenal last time out and despite the Gunners’ poor form, they should have too much for their opponents.
