Slovakia are consistent when it comes to efficiency, finding the net in 8 of their last 9 matches. I don’t see them stopping in-form and more experienced Belgium though, so backing the Red Devils to win & BTTS is value.

Belgium’s warm-up matches for Euro 2024 were a success, earning back to back victories against Montenegro 2-0 and Luxembourg 3-0 in Brussels, Romelu Lukaku and Leandro Trossard scoring two goals each, Kevin De Bruyne also on target.

The Red Devils had a great run in the qualifiers, finishing as Group F winners without a single loss (six wins, two draws), ahead of Austria, Sweden, Azerbaijan, and Estonia, scoring 22 and conceding just four goals in the process.

Belgium played two friendlies in late March, starting with a goalless draw against the Republic of Ireland in Dublin. They ended that match with 0.46-1.80 expected goals, 64% possession, and 8-11 shots.

In the second friendly, Domenico Tedesco’s men performed much better at Wembley, holding England to a 2-2 draw, with Youri Tielemans scoring a brace in the first half.

The Falcons were successful in their last two test games ahead of Euro 2024, beating San Marino 4-0 and Wales 4-0.

Slovakia qualified for EURO 2024 after winning 2nd position in Group J. They ended the campaign with 22 points from 10 matches (seven wins, one draw, two defeats), behind Portugal, ahead of Luxembourg, Iceland, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Liechtenstein.

The Slovaks started this year with a poor performance and a 2-0 home loss to Austria in late March, ending the match with 0.83-1.04 expected goals, 47% possession and 12-9 shots.

Francesco Calzona’s side did slightly better a couple of days later, holding Norway to a 1-1 draw in Oslo, Alexander Sorloth breaking the deadlock for the hosts, Ondrej Duda scoring a late equalizer.

Belgium v Slovakia

Slovakia deserve respect and can score here, but I don’t see them stopping Tielemans, De Bruyne, Lukaku & co on Monday. Belgium are the superior side so I will back them to win with BTTS.
