Despite their solid run so far, Austria are once again underestimated. Both sides would advance to playoffs with a draw here, so I view this outcome as great value. BTTS is also tipped.

The Netherlands had a decent performance in the Euro 2024 second round against France. The match ended in a goalless draw, with Oranje being denied a goal by a questionable VAR decision in the second half. 

Xavi Simons fired a shot and beat the Mike Maignan, but the goal was disallowed as defender Denzel Dumfries was in offside and in the line of vision of the keeper. 

They struggled against Poland in their Euro 2024 opening match, conceding an early goal. They fought back in the first half with Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo finding the net. Wout Weghorst emerged as the hero for Oranje, scoring a late winner just two minutes after being substituted in for ineffective Memphis Depay.  

Ronald Koeman’s side was also victorious in both of their June international friendlies, starting with a 4-0 win against Canada, with Memphis Depay, Jeremie Frimpong, Wout Weghorst, and Virgil van Dijk all scoring. They then defeated Iceland 4-0, with goals from Van Dijk, Weghorst, Xavi Simons, and Donyell Malen.

Das Team earned huge three points in the second round against Poland 3-1, Gernot Trauner breaking the deadlock after just nine minutes but the first half ended 1-1. Christoph Baumgartner and Marko Arnautovic scored two unanswered goals between 66th and 78th minute. 

Austria looked well-organized in their Euro 2024 opening match against one of the biggest title contenders France, missed a couple of great opportunities to score and lost the match 1-0, defender Max Wober scoring an own goal. They had 0.59-2.09 expected goals, 51% possession and 7-14 shots against Les Bleus.  

Ralf Rangnick’s side has won their last two test games ahead of Euro 2024, beating Serbia 2-1 in front of the home crowd, followed by a 1-1 draw against Switzerland in St Gallen.
