Serbia take on Scotland in a Euro 2020 Qualifying Play-Off on Thursday. The away side are on a great run of form with seven wins in their last eight games.

Serbia Form

Serbia’s recent form doesn’t bode too well for them ahead of this huge game for them on Thursday.

The hosts have picked up just one win in their last six matches, with even that victory coming via extra time.

That came in a 2-1 win over Norway away from home, before they then lost 1-0 at home to Hungary. Most recently, they drew 2-2 with Turkey.

Despite taking a two-goal lead through Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Alexsandar Mitrovic, they were pegged back by goals from Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Ozan Tufan.

Serbia Team News

Serbia will be without Nemanja Matic following his retirement from international football. Miloš Veljković, Nikola Maksimović and Filip Đuričić have all had to withdraw from the squad.

Following the Israel win, Scotland then defeated Slovakia and Czech Republic 1-0 in consecutive games. Ryan Fraser scored the only goal against the Czechs as they also kept their third straight clean sheet.
