The Czechs then drawn against Georgia 1-1 (Patrich Schick finding an equalizer) and then lost to Turkey 2-1 in the third round (Tomas Soucek on the scoresheet) to exit the tournament early.

They kicked off the tournament with a convincing 3-0 defeat to Romania, but bounced back with a 2-1 win over Slovakia thanks to goals scored by Mykola Shaparenko and Roman Yaremchuk. A goalless draw against Belgium in the third round was not enough to advance.
