Head to Head

Wales have a 5-1 advantage against Iceland in seven meetings with one draw.

Iceland Form

Iceland have won five of their last eight in all competitions. They won three in a row before ending their 2024 Euros qualification campaign with a 2-1 loss to Ukraine.

Åge Hareide’s side then stunned England with a 1-0 win at Wembley. A 4-0 loss in the Netherlands followed before a 2-0 Nations League home win over Montenegro.

The Nordic outfit fell to a 3-1 loss in Turkey in their second Group B4 clash. Victor Pálsson cancelled out Turkey’s opener but Iceland conceded twice after half time.

Craig Bellamy replaced Rob Page after the Slovakia defeat and led Wales to a debut 0-0 home draw with Turkey.

Keiffer Moore and Harry Wilson then fired Wales into a 2-0 lead after just three minutes in Montenegro. The Dragons faced 22 shots, conceded with 17 minutes remaining and held on for a 2-1 win.

Wales Injuries & Team News

Midfielder Aaron Ramsey and defender Ethan Ampadu are unavailable due to injury.
