Wales bid to maintain their perfect start to the UEFA Nations League campaign when they take on Republic of Ireland at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Sunday.

Republic of Ireland Form

Republic of Ireland are yet to win in three games under new coach Stephen Kenny. Kenny's reign started with a 1-1 draw against Bulgaria in the UEFA Nations League but it needed a Shane Duffy equaliser three minutes into injury time.

Ireland lost their second game of the competition when going down 1-0 at home to Finland. The Republic suffered heartbreak on Thursday when losing on penalties in their European Championship play off match against Slovakia after a 0-0 draw.

Republic of Ireland Team News

Strikers Aaron Connolly and Adam Idah missed the game against Slovakia due to potential coronavirus transmission from a member of staff. It remains to be seen whether they will be cleared in time to face Wales.

Seamus Coleman, Darragh Lenihan and Harry Arter are all out through injury.

Wales Form

Wales started the UEFA Nations League with back-to-back 1-0 wins. Kiefer Moore scored the only goal of the game against Finland in Helsinki, while Neco Williams struck four minutes into added time against Bulgaria three days later.

Those victories formed part of an eight-game unbeaten run for Ryan Giggs' side, with Wales qualifying for the European Championship on the back of that form.

That run came to an end of Thursday when Wales, missing a number of stars, were beaten 3-0 by England in a friendly at Wembley.

Wales Team News

Kiefer Moore is a doubt after being forced off during the first half against England with a toe injury. Chris Mepham will be available after a head knock against England.

The big news for Wales is the availability of Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who has completed his quarantine period and will link up with Wales in Dublin.

Gareth Bale, Hal Robson-Kanu and Joe Allen are all missing from the Wales squad due to injury.
