Wales can make it two wins from two to start their UEFA Nations League campaign when they host Bulgaria in Cardiff on Sunday. Wales were 1-0 winners over Finland on Thursday and sit top of the group ahead of Bulgaria, who drew 1-1 with Republic of Ireland.

Wales Form

A second-half goal from Kiefer Moore earned Wales a 1-0 win in Helsinki in their opening game of the campaign on Thursday.

The victory extended an unbeaten run for Ryan Giggs' side to seven games. They have recorded wins over Azerbaijan twice, Hungary, Belarus and Finland, and drew with Slovakia and Croatia.

Wales are also unbeaten in their last six home games, winning five of them and drawing the other.

Wales Team News

Gareth Bale played the opening 45 minutes for Wales against Finland, but is expected to feature for longer against Bulgaria as the Real Madrid outcast returns to full match fitness.

David Brooks is available after missing the Finland game with an ankle injury, while Manchester United youngster Dylan Levitt impressed on debut and could retain his place.

Chris Mepham, Joe Allen and Joe Rodon are all missing from the Wales squad through injury.

Bulgaria Form

Bulgaria were denied victory in their opening game of the competition on Thursday when Shane Duffy equalised for the Republic of Ireland three minutes into injury time. Bozhidar Kraev's 56th minute goal looked to have sealed a win, but Bulgaria were held to a 1-1 draw in Sofia.

The draw continued a poor run of form for Georgi Dermendzhiev's team, who have now won just once in their last 14 internationals.

Away from home things make for even worse reading. Bulgaria have won once in 15 away internationals since early 2016, losing 10 of them.

Bulgaria Team News

Goalkeeper Martin Lukov, defenders Cicinho and Stanislav Rabotov and midfielder Filip Krastev were unused substitutes in the draw with Republic of Ireland and are still awaiting their international debuts.
