France are tipped to secure a comfortable victory when they face Norway at Banants Stadium in their final Group B fixture at the 2019 UEFA U19 Championship. The French are having an excellent tournament, claiming two wins from two matches and are yet to concede a goal. They are backed to win.

France are coming off a 1-0 victory over the Republic of Ireland in their previous outing in the competition. They dominated the contest with several attempts on goal but had only Wilson Isidor's 83rd minute strike to show for their efforts.

The result means the three time champions have the maximum six points from two matches and are already through to the next stage of the competition. Lionel Rouxel’s men are currently on a four match winning run stretching back to the qualifiers and have kept clean sheets in the last three. 

France are expected to make changes to their team with Wilson Isidor likely to he given a start after coming off the bench to score last time out  Charles Abi is set to feature in attack while Omar Solet Bomawoko and Benoit Badiashile should continue their good central defensive partnership.

Norway U19 Form & Team News 


Norway were held to a 0-0 draw by the Czech Republic last time out. They dominated the possession and created several opportunities but failed to make any of their five shots on target count.

Gunnar Halle’s men have drawn their two matches in the competition and sit second in the standings with two points. The Norwegians have not been at their best lately having claimed just two wins in their last seven matches.

Jorgen Larsen has struggled in this year’s competition with the striker yet to find the net in Armenia. He is still expected to start in attack alongside Erik Botheim, who has just one goal in the tournament.

There have been just two previous matches between France and Norway with the French winning both fixtures. The most recent meeting was a friendly in 2012 which ended 3-1.
