The Nordic side had an inconsistent Nations League campaign, losing three and winning three. Two of those losses came against upcoming European Championship opponents Sweden and the third defeat was against Italy, 3-0.

Former Women’s European Championship winners Sweden enter the 2025 competition in excellent recent form. They are unbeaten in 12 consecutive games and have won eight.

Peter Gerhardsson’s team are on a two-match winning run, which started with the 6-1 Nations League triumph over Denmark. 

The Blue and Yellow followed that victory with a comfortable 2-0 friendly win against Norway. Stina Blackstenius opened the scoring for a third consecutive match and Filippa Angeldal also scored in the first half.
