Fifty of the best-performing golfers on the DP World Tour converge in Dubai at the Jumeirah Golf Estates to compete in this season's final tournament. Who will the DP World Tour Championship come Sunday?

Nicolai Hojgaard will not be back to defend his title after producing a two-stroke victory over Tommy Fleetwood, Viktor Hovland and Matt Wallace in 2023.

Past and major winners that will tee off on the Earth course include Shane Lowry, Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Adam Scott.

These are our four selections that could win the season-ending tournament this weekend.

Tyrrell Hatton

Tyrrell Hatton has been in top form on the DP World Tour since the beginning of September, placing T18 at the Betfred British Masters, 4th in Chicago (LIV Golf Tour), T10 at the Open de Espana, victory at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and 2nd at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship last weekend.

Other noteworthy results achieved by Hatton on the PGA Tour and LIV Golf Tour this year include finishing T14 at the Sentry, T13 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T9 at the Masters, T8 in Mayakoba, T12 in Las Vegas, T15 in Jeddah, T4 in Miami, T14 in Adelaide, T5 in Singapore, T18 in Houston, victory in Nashville, 3rd in Andalucia and T2 in the United Kingdom.

The seven-time DP World Tour winner has compiled an impressive record at the DP World Tour Championship, placing T6 in 2014, T13 in 2015, 2nd in 2016, T8 in 2017, T22 in 2018, 46th in 2019, T8 in 2020, T16 in 2021, T2 in 2022 and T11 in 2023.

Hatton has been playing excellent golf lately and will fancy his chances to win the title at the Jumeirah Golf Estates come Sunday.

Shane Lowry

Shane Lowry has produced consistent results lately, placing T13 at the BMW Championship, T9 at the Tour Championship, T12 at the Amgen Irish Open, T12 at the BMW PGA Championship, T13 at the Open de Espana, T12 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and T13 at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship last weekend.

Other prominent performances achieved by Lowry during 2024 include finishing T4 at the Cognizant Classic, 3rd at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, victory at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, T6 at the PGA Championship, T19 at the U.S. Open, T9 at the Travelers Championship and 6th at the Open Championship.

The former Open Champion has a long history at the DP World Tour Championship, with results of T8 in 2011, T39 in 2013, 5th in 2014, T48 in 2015, T19 in 2016, T2 in 2017, T30 in 2018, T12 in 2019, T9 in 2021, T23 in 2022 and T18 in 2023.

Lowry has threatened to return to the winner's circle lately and should enter calculations in Dubai.

Jordan Smith

Jordan Smith has been thereabouts on the DP World Tour lately, placing T12 at the Betfred British Masters, T12 at the Omega European Masters, T7 at the Amgen Irish Open, T18 at the BMW PGA Championship, T35 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, T13 at the Open de France, T4 at the Andalucia Masters and T13 at the recent Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

Other notable results achieved by Jordan this season include finishing T4 at the Dubai Invitational, T2 at the Jonsson Workwear Open, T21 at the Porsche Singapore Classic, T24 at the ISPS Handa Championship and T23 at the Volvo China Open.

The Englishman featured six times at the DP World Tour Championship, placing T25 in 2017, T12 in 2018, 47th in 2019, 47th in 2020, T30 in 2022 and 47th in 2023.

Smith has the form to go all the way and win the championship at the Jumeirah Golf Estates this weekend.

Francesco Laporta

Francesco Laporta has found form on the DP World Tour after struggling with his game for most of the season, placing T6 at the FedEx Open de France, T20 at the Andalucia Masters, T6 at the Genesis Championship and T13 at the recent Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

Additional highlights from Laporta's season include finishing T16 at the SDC Championship, T26 at the Hero Indian Open, T12 at the D+D Real Czech Masters, T27 at the Danish Golf Championship and T27 at the Omega European Masters.

The 34-year-old Italian golfer has made one appearance at the DP World Tour Championship, finishing T46 overall in 2021.

Laporta has been playing well lately and offers an excellent each-way bet in Dubai this weekend.
