The DP World Tour returns to the African continent, where the players will compete for top honours at the Kenya Open this weekend. Who will lift the winning trophy at the Muthaiga Country Club come Sunday?

Darius van Driel is back to defend his title after a two-stroke victory over Joe Dean and Nacho Elvira in 2024.

Past winners of the Magical Kenya Open that will tee on Thursday include Jorge Campillo, Ashun Wu, Justin Harding and Guido Migliozzo.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Angel Ayora

Angel Ayora started his season on the DP World Tour in great touch, placing T6 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, T23 at the ISPS Handa Australian Open and T5 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship.

Ayora's form dipped slightly after those results, finishing T36 at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, T27 at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship and MC at the Bahrain Championship before placing T14 at the Qatar Masters.

The 20-year-old is debuting at the 2025 Magical Kenya Open this weekend.

Ayora can win the title at the Muthaiga Country Club if he can replicate the form he showed earlier in the season.

Jayden Schaper

Jayden Schaper had a solid start to his season on the DP World Tour, with results of MC at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, T13 at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open and T21 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

Schaper's subsequent two events were poor, finishing T61 at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship and MC at the Bahrain Championship before bouncing back with a T5 result at the Qatar Masters.

The South African golfer has played three times at the Kenya Open, finishing T24 in 2021, T34 in 2022 and T7 in 2023.

Schaper has been thereabouts lately and can pocket the winner's cheque come Sunday.

Ivan Cantero

Ivan Cantero had a decent beginning to his new season on the DP World Tour, finishing T24 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, T34 at the ISPS Handa Australian Open, T42 at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open and T31 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

After those performances, Cantero found another gear, placing T5 at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship, T4 at the Bahrain Championship and T14 at the Qatar Masters.

The Spaniard has made three appearances at the Magical Kenya Open, finishing T35 in 2019, MC in 2022 and T23 in 2024.

Cantero has come good lately and can challenge for the title in Kenya this weekend.

Martin Couvra

Martin Couvra got his season off to a great beginning on the DP World Tour, placing T7 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship before missing the cut at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open and the Ras Al Khaimah Championship.

However, Couvra regained his touch in his following two tournaments, placing T4 at the Bahrain Championship and T5 at the Qatar Masters.

The Frenchman is debuting at the 2025 Magical Kenya Open.

Couvra has a chance to win the title at the Muthaiga Country Club after his previous two performances.

Ayora has achieved solid results this season and can secure victory at the Magical Kenya Open this weekend.

Schaper is showing signs he is ready to produce a winning performance on the DP World Tour.

Cantero has the form to go all the way and win at the Muthaiga Country Club this weekend.

Couvra has been playing well lately and is the long-shot value bet in Kenya.
