PGA Championship Betting Tips
The 2020 PGA Championship is the 102nd edition an annual golf tournament conducted by the Professional Golfers' Association of America. It is one of the four major championships in professional golf.
The tournament was originally scheduled for May 14-17 at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, California but was postponed to August 6-9 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

PGA Championship Multiple Winners
Jack Nicklaus and Walter Hagen have the most PGA Championship titles with five each, the Golden Bear also finishing runner-up on four occasions. Rory McIlroy holds the record for the greatest winning margin with an 8 stroke victory in 2012, Jason Day shooting the lowest in history with 20 under par in 2015.
PGA Championship Qualification
The PGA Championship is the only major that does not invite leading amateurs to compete and the only major that does not grant entry to the top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking.

PGA Championship History
The first PGA Championship was first held in 1916 at Siwanoy Country Club in New York. Initially a match play event, the tournament was changed to stroke play in 1958 with the standard 72-hole format over four days from Thursday to Sunday.
The PGA Championship is primarily played in the eastern half of the United States with only ten tournaments taking place in the west. The last tournament played in the Pacific time zone was in 1998 at Sahalee in Seattle. The PGA Championship returns to the west in 2020 at Harding Park in San Francisco.
The PGA Championship is played at various locations in the United States.
