Jon Rahm has joined Scottie Scheffler at the top of the outright betting for this week’s US PGA Championship.

Masters champion Scheffler sat alone at the top of the market for the second Major of 2022 earlier this week.

However, a flurry of support has seen John Rahm come into 10/1 to join Scheffler as favourite with Coral.

“Punters are backing Jon Rahm to roar to victory at Southern Hills,” Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead told FreeTips.com

“The Spaniard is now joint favourite alongside Masters winner Scheffler, as the support continues for the man from the Basque County.”

At bigger prices, Cameron Smith and Patrick Cantlay are now both 18/1, cut from 22/1.

Dustin Johnson, meanwhile, is out to 20/1 from 16/1, while Brooks Koepka has slipped from 25/1 to 33/1.

“Smith and Cantlay have been popular, whilst regular stars Johnson and Koepka have been surprisingly unpopular,” Aitkenhead added.

“Both have been significant drifters in the run up to the first round.”
