A mix of seasoned professionals and rookies head to Mexico for the latest round of the PGA Tour with the Mexico Open up for grabs. Who will walk away with honours at Vindata this weekend?

Jake Knapp returns to defend his title after a two-stroke victory over Sami Valimaki in 2024.

Past major winners Padraig Harrington and Francesco Molinari are in the field.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Akshay Bhatia

Akshay Bhatia had a decent start to his season on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, finishing T32 at the Sentry, T37 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, T22 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and T32 at the WM Phoenix Open before placing T9 at the Genesis Invitational last weekend.

The two-time PGA Tour winner placed 4th overall at the 2023 Mexico Open on debut.

Bhatia has been thereabouts and will aim to win the title in Mexico this weekend.

Sam Stevens

Sam Stevens had a slow beginning to his season on the PGA Tour, finishing T59 at the Sony Open in Hawaii and T51 at the American Express before placing 2nd at the Farmers Insurance Open and T17 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Stevens' subsequent two tournaments have been fair, finishing T44 at the WM Phoenix Open and T31 at the Genesis Invitational last weekend.

The 28-year-old American missed the cut at the 2024 Mexico Open on debut.

Stevens has found consistency in his game and will look to cap it off with a victory in Vindata.

Harry Hall

Harry Hall was in solid form at the beginning of the PGA Tour, placing T8 at the Sentry, T10 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T21 at the American Express and T58 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am before missing the cut at the WM Phoenix Open.

The Englishman has made two appearances at the Mexico Open, finishing T10 in 2023 and T33 in 2024.

Hall has featured consistently on the leaderboards since the end of last year and can make the frame in Vindata this weekend.

Beau Hossler

Beau Hossler got his new season on the PGA Tour to an excellent beginning, placing T12 at the American Express and T15 at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Hossler could not maintain his level play in his following two events, finishing T69 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and T32 at the WM Phoenix Open.

The 29-year-old produced a solid T10 result at the Mexico Open on debut in 2023.

Hossler has been in decent nick and is in an excellent each-way bet in Mexico this weekend.

Verdict

Mexico Open

Bhatia is no stranger to winning on the PGA Tour and can lift the trophy come Sunday.

Stevens can convert his consistent form into victory at Vindata this weekend.

Hall has been playing well lately and can secure the Mexico Open title this weekend.

Hossler has threatened to produce a top result lately and should enter calculations.
