Open Championship 2022 Odds – Scottie Scheffler cut to 14/1 after magnificent Masters win

The world number one finished three shots clear of Rory McIlroy to win the first Major of 2022.

He is now 400/1 to win all four Major tournaments in 2022 with Coral.

“Scheffler is unstoppable at the moment and his Masters victory has seen his odds cut for the 150th Open Championship this summer,” Coral's Harry Aitkenhead told FreeTips.com.

“We go 400/1 on Scheffler winning the clean sweep of all four majors this year, whilst he is 33/1 to score a hat-trick and land three.”

Scheffler is behind only two other players in the Open outright betting.

Rory McIlroy, who finished second on Sunday after a sensational final round, is a 12/1 shot for the event at St Andrews, making him the second favourite behind Jon Rahm at 11/1.

“Rahm and McIlroy are the only men given shorter odds – the latter off the back of a quite magical Sunday at Augusta,” Aitkenhead added.

Tiger Woods is 40/1 to win after confirming his plans to continue his comeback and play in Scotland.

"Tiger competed well for a lot of the Masters before running out of steam,” Aitkenhead said.

“There's every chance he will continue to improve as he carries on his recovery.”
