Dinamo Bucharest have been struggling in the last couple of rounds in the Champions League but still have a great chance to qualify for the playoffs, sitting in 5th place in Group A with a 5-5 record.

After getting beaten by Fuchse Berlin 38-29 in Germany, they suffered another convincing defeat in Portugal to Sporting 34-25.

Dinamo Bucharest failed to recover and lost third game in a row to PSG 40-33 at home in early December. The losing streak has ended last weekend with a 32-19 win over Steaua in the Romanian top flight.

Veszprem are having an amazing campaign so far in the Champions League, sitting at top of the table with an impressive record of nine victories and one defeat, being just one win short from clinching the quarterfinals.
