Best All Star Mile 2020 Bet - Melody Belle @ 4.80

Melody Belle is one of the finest horses New Zealand has ever produced and looks set for a strong showing in this year's All Star Mile.

After dominating the New Zealand racing scene, Melody Belle came to Australia and starred in the Melbourne spring before returning a month ago to deliver a strong return in the Group One Futurity Stakes at Caulfield, finishing third in a day that didn't suit her racing style.

Caulfield can be a tricky track, so with that run under the belt she'll be primed for a big run and we're making Melody Belle our All Star Mile NAP heading into Saturday.

Value Bet All Star Mile 2020 - Mr Quickie @ 12

Mr Quickie was set to run races over the 2400m trip last preparation but a drop back to the mile looks to have worked wonders on this gelding.

After finishing third in a strongly run Makybe Diva Stakes in the spring, the Phillip Stokes team elected to target this race, and every piece of information coming from the stable suggests he's ready to fire.

He will settle towards the back of the field and if the track is playing fairly we anticipate he will be charging home late and provide a strong showing as our All Star Mile value bet.
