Golden Slipper Tips & Preview For 21.03.2020

Run at the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse in Sydney is the Golden Slipper Stakes which is Australia's most famous two-year-old race.

Dating back to 1957 which was taken out by the champion galloper Todman, this six furlongs scamper for the juveniles is worth $3.5 million and is the headline act one a huge day of racing which includes five group one races at Rosehill.

Golden Slipper NAP: Race 7 No. 10 - See You Soon @ $17.00

This filly is a full sister to her handy stable mate Julian Rock and has displayed above average ability from day one.

Following a terrific debut win over five furlongs where class got her home over an unsuitably short trip, she'd have won again in a strong 2019 Golden Gift prior to a break with a better draw on that occasion.

She resumed in Reisling Stakes at Group Two level on March 7 when back in a slowly run race and was only narrowly defeated on the line with improvement to come physically for a target race.

It's a competitive 2020 Golden Slipper as it usually is but at big odds and drawn well to camp off a strong speed, See You Soon will run as our NAP in the Golden Slipper.

Golden Slipper Next Best Bet: Race 7 No. 2 - Hanseatic @ $7.00

Although he narrowly went down in the Blue Diamond Stakes as a short favourite, this Godolphin representative is still the best two-year-old in Australia.

He'd delivered two brilliant victories via the Preview and Prelude before that group one in Melbourne and has been freshened-up since that runner-up finish.

Whilst he appeared to have his chance, it was a tough program to make any winning run off the fence and he's very capable of bouncing back.

With a recent Sydney trial now under his belt and expected to face a strong tempo in the Golden Slipper, Hanseatic has to be respected at an attractive quote.
