2021 Breeders' Cup Turf Entries

Tarnawa will return to the USA to try and defend her Breeders' Cup Turf crown on Saturday. Dermot Weld's mare has been narrowly beaten in the Irish Champion Stakes and the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in recent starts, and tops the betting with bet365 on a top price of 7/4.

Roger Varian took Teona out of the Arc when the ground softened up, and his Prix Vermeille winner will make the trip to California. Charlie Appleby will be dually represented by Great Voltigeur winner, Yibir and Canadian International champion, Walton Street.

Three-time Grade One winner, Domestic Spending leads the home challenge in this year's Breeders' Cup Turf. Chad Brown could also throw Sword Dancer Stakes winner, Gufo and surprise Joe Hirsch victor, Rockemperor into the mix.

German Derby winner, Sisfahan bolsters the three-year-old contingent in this historic race. Aidan O'Brien has Japan, Broome, Bolshoi Ballet and Mogul entered up at Del Mar too.

Other notable Breeders' Cup entrants include United Nations Stakes winner Tribhuvan, Richard Mandella's multiple pattern-race winner United, and Philip D'Amato's consistent seven-year-old, Acclimate.
