The Breeders' Cup Turf has been around since the beginning of the series and it was made to give the turf runners a grand final event.
Run over 2400m, the Breeders' Cup Turf appeals to the distance horses from Europe mostly and they have good success.
The likes of High Chaparral, Highland Reel and Found have all won the Turf and the European jockeys and trainers also have great records.
Frankie Dettori and Ryan Moore have each won on four occasions, most recently with Ryan Moore winning on Found in 2015.
He scored on board the Aidan O'Brien-trained runner, which gave O'Brien his fifth win in the race. He has since made it six with Highland Reel, which also gave owners Sue Magnier, Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith their sixth win.
It has been a stallion-making race with High Chaparral, Prized and Fantastic Light all winning.
Conduit and High Chaparral have both won consecutive Breeders' Cup Turf races and the race record belongs to Little Mike for trainer Dale Romans.

Talismatic caused a big upset in 2017 when winning at odds of $30.20.
The Andre Fabre-trained runner was up against a hot field, including 2017 winner Highland Reel and it was his first Group 1 victory in the process.
Highland Reel scored at odds of $9.60 in 2016 despite showing some good lead-up form all around the world.
The Cox Plate placegetter was taking on a field that included Flintshire and Found, but the money was considered great value at the time.
Punters have been finding good value with quality runners in recent times and 2015 winner Found was well-found in the market.
It always looked a race between Found and Golden Horn, but most of the money came for Golden Horn, which paid under $1 for the place.
The most recent US-based winner was Main Sequence in 2014, which recorded his fourth consecutive Group 1 victory since changing to the Graham Motion stables.
The quality runner paid $14.40 to win when beating Flintshire and Twilight Eclipse. The field also included quality staying types Brown Panther and Chicquita.
