Metier won the Chester Cup for Harry Fry and Saffie Osbourne
Revich, Pride Of America and Point Lonsdale also claimed ITV victories

The final day of Chester's May Festival was headlined by the Chester Cup. Harry Fry added his name to the list of National Hunt trained to land this historic flat handicap after Saffie Osbourne rode Metier to victory in Friday's feature.

Aidan O'Brien had earlier saddled his third winner of the meeting, with Point Lonsdale beating Mujtaba in the Huxley Stakes. Pride Of America landed the Precision Facades Handicap, thanks to an excellent front-running ride by Hollie Doyle.

Revich ran out a ready winner of the opening ITV handicap for Jim Crowley and Richard Spencer. Banderas opened his account at the fourth time of asking to win the Darley Maiden Stakes.

Benoit De La Sayette rode Greystoke to victory in the White Oak Apprentice Handicap. The May Festival then wrapped up with the consolation race for the Chester Cup, the Chester Vase, where 33/1 outsider Zinc White upset the favourite Novel Legend.
