One of the most lucrative cards of the 2022 Dubai World Cup Carnival takes place today. Two excellent Grade One races headline the action on Super Saturday, and racing fans can look forward to fantastic renewals of both the Al Maktoum Challenge R3 and the Jebel Hatta.
I've taken a look at both of the Grade Ones on the Dubai World Cup Carnival card today and picked out my best bets.

Given the lack of front-runners in this field, I'm expecting someone to go forward early and try to pinch it from the front. After being drawn on the inside rail, Pat Dobbs will be keen for a fast start on EVERFAST, and Doug Watson's six-year-old could be hard to peg back.
Everfast was formerly trained in the US by Jack Sisterson, so he'll be used to breaking quickly and flashing early speed. Dobbs' mount did just that on his first start for Watson in December, where he broke well and kicked clear from two furlongs out to win a Rated Conditions race over a mile here at Meydan.
Hot Rod Charlie proved far too classy for his rivals in Round Two of the Al Maktoum Challenge. Evertfast didn't start quickly enough to get involved, coming through late on to finish third. There's no-one of Hot Rod Charlie's quality in this field and, if Everfast can break well and grab an early lead on the rail, he could go very close.
Race 7 - Jebel Hatta Tips
New customers only. 18+ T&Cs and wagering requirements apply.
Charlie Appleby's duo of Zakouski and Highland Avenue like to be up with the pace. Both, however, have been drawn very wide, so there's a chance they could be rushed up early to try and claim a prominent position. A fast early pace would set the race up perfectly for Lord Glitters, should the gaps appear at the right time.
A better option at the odds could be FELIX who, like the favourite, likes to come from off the pace. Marco Botti's six-year-old hasn't won for over a year, but he did register some solid performances on British soil in 2021, placing third behind Pyledriver and Dubai Honour in two very high-quality Listed races at Lingfield.
On his only previous start around the turf track at Meydan, Felix flew home from the rear to finish third behind Lord North and Vin De Garde in last year's Dubai Turf. Neil Callan's mount looks a solid each way option at 9/1.
Verdict
Everfast is our selection in Round 3 of the Al Maktoum Challege.
We've also backed Felix each way in the Jebel Hatta.
