2023 Durban July Entries

The new favourite for the 2023 Durban July is See It Again, who's risen from an opening price of 66/1 to now sit clear at the top of the market. Michael Robert's colt upset Charles Dickens to win the Cape Derby at Kenilworth and followed that Classic triumph with another impressive victory in the recent Daily News 2000.

Vaughan Marshall's Rascallion sits joint second in the market, despite recent defeats in the Cape Town Met and the WSB 1900. Justin Snaith's Without Question, who finished third behind See It Again in the Daily News, can also be backed at 6/1 with Hollywoodbets.

Pacaya had his odds for the Durban July slashed after winning the WSB 1900 at Greyville last month. Mike De Kock's Safe Passage will be hoping to build on the third-place finish he secured in last year's July. Daily News 2000 runner-up, Dave The King and former ante-post favourite, Cousin Casey both sit prominently in the market.

Sean Tarry's star mare Rain In Holland booked her spot in the Durban July with an excellent victory in the Woolavington. Other likely runners in the main event on July 1st include Justin Snaith's duo of Pomp And Power and Rockpool, Champions Challenge winner Puerto Manzano, Alex Laird's colt Billy Bowlegs and SA Derby winner, Son Of Raj.
