The capacity crowd packed into York racecourse was left stunned on Wednesday, as Baaeed destroyed his rivals with an emphatic victory in the Juddmonte International Stakes.

William Haggas' star drew further comparisons with Frankel after thrashing Mishriff and Sir Busker by six lengths. Read a recap of the race and watch a replay of Baaeed victory here on our website.

Day one of the Ebor Festival kicked off with a thrilling sprint handicap, where Kevin Ryan's Bergerac came out on top. Chaldean then secured a hard-fought victory in the Acomb Stakes, earning quotes of 20/1 from Unibet for next year's 2000 Guineas.

Deauville Legend was cut for the Melbourne Cup after powering to an impressive victory in the Great Voltigeur Stakes. Ian Williams' Alfred Boucher then cruised to an impressive victory in the stayers handicap.

John Butler's Designer bounced back to winning form in the Voucher Winner Fillies' Handicap. The final race on Wednesday's card went the way of Eve Johnson-Houghton, as favourite Streets Of Gold came out on top.
