The second day of action at the Ebor Festival was headlined by the Yorkshire Oaks. Sir Mark Prescott's mare, Alpinista justified favouritism with a hard-fought victory over Tuesday. You can read a full recap of the race and watch a replay here on our website.

Punters were left celebrating after the two big betting races on Thursday's card. Shouldvebeenaring handed Richard Hannon yet another victory in the Goffs Premier Yearling Stakes, before fellow favourite Blue For You overcome trouble in running to win the Clipper Logistics handicap.

Even-money favourite Dramatised was turned over in the Lowther Stakes, as stablemate and 25/1 outsider Swingalong scored a shock victory. Two Juddmonte-owned fillies then fought out the finish to the Galtres Stakes, as Haskoy got the better of Time Lock.

Tom Marquand and William Haggas combined to win the Nursery Handicap with Kyeema. Dylan Hogan then guided Adaay In Asia to victory in the card-closing Fillies' Handicap for Harry Dunlop.
