We take a look through the betting for this Group One at the Ebor Festival and provide readers with our Yorkshire Oaks tips

Day two of the Ebor Festival is headlined by the second Group One of the meeting, the Yorkshire Oaks. This mile-and-a-half race for fillies and mares was first staged at York way back in 1849, and with greats like May Hill, Midday and two-time winner, Enable featuring on the roll of honour.

At the top of the market we find Love, who's been the stand-out three-year-old of the season so far. Aidan O'Brien's filly cruised to victory in the 1000 Guineas on her reappearance, before an even more impressive performance in the Epsom Oaks, where Ryan Moore's mount powered clear to win by almost ten lengths.

After it was confirmed that Enable was going to skip the defence of her crown, Love was moved into odds-on favouritism across the boards. Only the bravest of punters will side against her.

2020 Yorkshire Oaks Form Guide

One Voice ran far beyond her starting price in the Nassau Stakes. It looked for a while like Jessica Harrington's filly might run down Fancy Blue, but the winner found a little extra in the final strides and hung on to score. One Voice has never stepped beyond ten-furlongs before, but she's clearly a filly with plenty of ability.

Frankly Darling rivalled Love for favouritism ahead of the Epsom Oaks, but was left floundering a long way behind her rival, eventually crossing the line third. John Gosden said his filly simply didn't handle the track that day. She's been given six weeks to recover from those efforts and will be more effective on this flatter track.

Gosden could also throw fellow Frankel progeny, Franconia into the mix at the Ebor Festival. Franconia secured her second Listed win of the season here at York in the Lyric Stakes last time out, and could step up to Group One company.

Magical sits closest to Love in the betting, but it's much more likely she will head to the Juddmonte International Stakes. Manuela De Vega is another doubtful runner, with the ground unlikely to come up soft enough for Ralph Beckett's four-year-old to take her chance.

Sir Mark Prescott will throw Alpinista into Group company for the first time. Luke Morris' mount ran away with the Listed Upavon Stakes last week, and should be able to handle the quick turnaround.

The final entrant, at this stage, is Oaks runner-up Ennistymon. O'Brien's filly has failed to impress since then, losing out in the Irish Oaks and the Listed Hurrey Harriet Stakes, leaving her floundering at the bottom of the betting.

As there will only be two paid places available, once Magical and Manuela De Vega come out, I don't really see the point in taking LOVE on. Even with both in the field, I can only see one likely winner.

Aidan O'Brien's filly has swept the competition aside in two Classic this term. Her performance at Epsom, in particular, was right out of the top draw. Love's by far the best horse in the race, and I see no reason why she will get beaten.
