Passenger Epsom Derby 2023 Odds

Passenger will represent Sir Michael Stoute in the 2023 Epsom Derby, after the owners paid the supplementary fee to run their colt in this famous Classic.

Stoute and jockey, Richard Kingscote combined to win last year's Epsom Derby with the talented Desert Crown. Like Desert Crown, Passenger has only run twice during his career so far, scoring in the Wood Ditton on debut before a good run in the Dante Stakes at York.

The Dante has long been considered the key trial for the Derby and Kingscote took the blame for his mount's defeat in that Grade Two. Passenger finished off his race strongly, after being caught in traffic for much of the race, but his flying finish was only good enough for third place.
