Corach Rambler will return to Aintree to defend his Grand National crown on Saturday afternoon.
Lucinda Russell's star ran out an impressive winner of the National 12 months ago. Derek Fox's mount took to the National course straight away and, having tracked the leaders throughout, Corach Rambler powered home to win by a couple of lengths.
After an encouraging effort in the Betfair Chase, Russell's star was slashed into favouritism for this year's Grand National following a staying-on third in the Gold Cup at Cheltenham. Although runners around him have been supported, Corach Rambler remains solid near the head of the market.
