The final field of 40 runners was confirmed for the 2021 renewal of the Grand National. Covid-19 meant the world's most famous race didn't take place 12 months ago, so millions of fans around the world will be making up for lost time on Saturday.

Ladbrokes Trophy winner, Cloth Cap has been extremely popular in recent weeks, and he tops the Grand National betting with Betfair.

2021 Grand National Entries

Tom Scudamore was confirmed in Cloth Cap's saddle on Thursday, and Jonjo O'Neill's star tops the market at a very short price of 4/1. Rachael Blackmore's mount, Minella Times and 2019 Irish Grand National winner, Burrows Saint have also been backed into single-figure prices.

Any Second Now and Kimberlite Candy will also carry JP McManus' colours into the Grand National. McManus actually owns seven of the 40 runners, with Anibale Fly, Canelo and The Long Mile also making the cut.

Bristol De Mai will carry top-weight on his own, after The Storyteller was ruled out. Blaklion, who finished fourth behind One For Arthur in 2018, sneaks into the first 40 runners. Welsh Grand National winner, Secret Reprieve will need two of the final 40 to drop out in order to start the race on Saturday.

Discorama and Magic Of Light, who finished second to Tiger Roll two years ago, have been tipped up by several experts this week. Jack Kennedy rides Farclas for Denise Foster, while Jamie Codd partners former Kim Muir winner, Milan Native at the Grand National Festival.

Patrick Mullins fills in for the injured Paul Townend on Burrows Saint, with Derek O'Connor riding Ok Corral. Bryony Frost partners Yala Enki, with Harry Cobden riding stablemate Give Me A Copper. Other notable runners include Lake View Lad, Takingrisks, Potters Corner, Lord Du Mesnil and Mister Malarky, for the imminently retiring Colin Tizzard.
