The 1000 Guineas is one of the highlight races at Newmarket and a full field lines up in the May feature.

Punters can bet on another quality field of three-year-old fillies, which is headed by Qabala and a host of each-way chances.

Roger Varian lines up the unbeaten three-year-old, which has been best-backed to win the 1000 Guineas. The daughter of Scat Daddy was a winner on debut at Newmarket by a head before repeating the dose this April.

The long layoff of seven months didn't slow the filly down, as she recorded a 1.75-length win over Mot Juste at Newmarket last start. The race experience on this track is going to suit nicely and we're not surprised to see her being well backed in a wide-open Guineas race.

Winning second-up is never easy, especially for fillies, but the 4.50 odds makes her worth any risk.

Another daughter of Scat Daddy, Skitter Scatter has more experience than the favourite and that could be vital in the 1000 Guineas. Trained by John Oxx, the three-year-old is coming off three consecutive wins.

The first of those was recorded at Leopardstown by 1.5 lengths before she won back-to-back races at The Curragh. Her most recent success was a two-length win in the Moyglare Stud Stakes at Group 1 level. 

That win should hold her in good stead for this and we'll happily take the odds on offer.

David Elsworth lines up the daughter of Dandy Man, which has two wins from five starts and looks an upset chance. She was a last start winner at Newbury and although the opposition wasn't close to what she faces here, the win still had merit.

Having the ability to beat a field of 15 is always a positive and if she can get a good run in transit, she should be tough to beat.

11.00 is worth taking and we can see those odds dropping come race day.
