The 2000 Guineas is for three-year-old thoroughbreds only and it's one of the most important races on the British racing calendar.

There is no overwhelming favourite in 2020, which will give bettors a chance to cash in on the good value. Bookmakers are giving good odds for most runners, including current favourite Magna Grecia.

Aidan O'Brien-trained runners always deserve respect and Magna Grecia is no different. The son of Invincible Spirit has won two of his three starts to date, including the Futurity Stakes at Doncaster last start.

The colt has a stud career mapped out already and if he's successful in the 2000 Guineas, punters should expect his racing career to be cut short. He has experience at Newmarket when running second behind Persian King but that form stacks up nicely for this.

3.75 is a touch short of value at the moment but he could be a well-backed runner on the day.

Another O'Brien-trained colt, Ten Sovereigns is unbeaten after three runs but doesn't have the same support as its stablemate. That being said, the son of No Way Never hasn't been tested to date and looks a top chance here.

The colt was a seven-length winner on debut at Curragh before scoring two good wins at Curragh and Newmarket. His win at Newmarket came by a half-length in September and although he hasn't raced for awhile now, he brings in each-way claims.

Betting moves on the day will be interest and they could be worth watching.

Advertise was a winner on debut at Newbury before going on to win the Group 1 Pheonix Stakes at Curragh. The three-year-old colt then ran second at Newmarket but has been given a long spell heading into the 2000 Guineas.

Having not raced since October could be seen as a negative, but that's not too uncommon in the 2000 Guineas and he could add some value.
