Race 3 - Guinness Galway Blazers Handicap Chase Tips
18+ only. T&Cs apply. Gamble responsibly.
With the weights as condensed as they are in this handicap, I have no problem backing a top-weight, especially when it's trained by Willie Mullins and ridden by Paul Townend.
FAN DE BLUES boasts strong course form here at Galway, having beaten future Graded winner Gin On Lime here back in the autumn. Mullins' seven-year-old was last seen finishing fourth behind stablemate El Barra at the Punchestown Festival and boasts a solid record when fresh.
Race 4 - Guinness Handicap Tips
18+ only. T&Cs apply. Stay in Control. Gamble Responsibly. Think! About your choices. Call Gambling Help on 1800 858 858 or visit www.gamblinghelponline.org.au.
I'm going to place my faith in another superstar duo, Colin Keane and Ger Lyons and take a chance on SAN MARTINO at a lengthy price.
Formerly trained out of Ballydoyle, San Martino has improved since being stepped up to middle-distances. Lyon's recuirt wasn't beaten far when second at Fairyhouse in June and ran a decent race in a classy Auction Race last time out. He could go well at a tasty price.
Race 6 - Arthur Guinness Handicap Tips
18+ only. Gamble responsibly. Ts and Cs apply
When Flame Of Eire won at Limerick earlier this month, ROCKBURY LAD really caught the eye, staying on late having been boxed on the rail to finish just two lengths behind his rival in third.
Mick O'Callaghan's charge finished fourth behind Dairerin over seven furlongs here on day one at Galway racecourse, where he was again caught behind traffic at a crucial stage. Rockbury Lad was giving Flame Of Eire eight pounds at Limerick and the gap between the two is now just two pounds. Leigh Roche will fancy his chances, if he can find a clear path to the post.
Race 7 - Rockshore Irish Lager Race Tips
18+ only. T&Cs apply. Gamble responsibly.
With Willie Mullins runners in such good form, M C MULDOON - who'll be ridden by champion jockey Colin Keane - should take plenty of beating in this 14 furlong contest.
Mullins' seven-year-old was narrowly beaten by Reshoun in the 2021 Ascot Stakes, and followed that performance with a maiden hurdles win here at Galway. Things didn't go to plan in the Cambridgeshire, but this race is much less competitive and a first-time tongue tie could help the favourite land this big pot.
