2020 Irish Champion Hurdle Best Bet - Honeysuckle @ 2.25

The unbeaten Honeysuckle confronts the Irish Champion Hurdle as the short priced favourite.

A winner of six runs over hurdles, Honeysuckle won by a combined 20 lengths across her last two races. Henry de Bromhead’s mare produced career-best performance to beat the boys in the Hatton’s Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse last time out.

It's hard to mount a case as to why Honeysuckle isn't the NAP of the day.

2020 Irish Champion Hurdle Value Bet - Apples Jade @ 15

The old mare recaptured her best over the hurdles on December 28, winning by a large margin in the Grade One Frank Ward Memorial Hurdle.

Unfortunately she was recently pulled up at Grade Two level just a week ago at Gowran Park, highlighting the best and worst of Apples Jade.

Her best is obviously good enough here given she took out this event last year, but whether she can reach the heights at the top level again is the biggest question.

At this price she's worth a small investment.
