Le Milos won the Coral Gold Cup for Harry and Dan Skelton
Red Risk, First Street and Amarillo Sky also claimed ITV victories

For the second weekend in a row, team Skelton were the ones celebrating following the main event. Le Milos was backed into favouritism ahead of the Coral Gold Cup, and Harry Skelton's mount clung on to beat David Pipe's pair of Remastered and Gericault Roque to claim the big prize.

Paul Nicholls saddled two winners on the card, starting with McFabulous, who comfortably saw off Thyme Hill to win the John Francombe Novices' Chase. Harry Cobden then rode 20/1 outsider Red Risk to victory in the two-and-a-half-mile handicap hurdle.

Zanza's love affair with Newbury continued as Philip Hobbs' charge returned to winning form in the Peter O'Sullevan Memorial Handicap Chase. Amarillo Sky then built on his excellent win at Cheltenham with an emphatic victory in the card-closing handicap chase.

A fantastic day for Nicky Henderson was kicked off by Luccia, who was cut into 4/1 favouritism for the Mares' Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham after winning a Listed race on her first start over hurdles. James Bowen then rode First Street to victory in the Gerry Feilden Handicap Hurdle.

Meanwhile up at Newcastle, Henderson's stable star Constitution Hill demolished stablemate Epatante to win the Fighting Fifth Hurdle. Unibet then cut Constitution Hill into 8/11 favouritism for the 2023 Champion Hurdle.
