The third and final card at the July Festival is headlined by the July Cup. This lucrative six furlong sprint was first staged at Newmarket in 1876, and a top-quality field looks set to assemble for this year's renewal on Saturday.

Oxted ran out a convincing winner of the 2020 July Cup, handing young jockey Cieren Fallon his first Group One win. Having returned to winning for in the King' Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot, Oxted will now attempt to become the first horse in 50-years to win back-to-back July Cups.
Starman skipped the Diamond Jubilee Stakes when the ground comes up soft, and he sits second in the betting. The leading three-year-old in the betting is Dragon Symbol, who crossed the line first in the Commonwealth Cup, only to be demoted to second in the steward's room.
Art Power and Glen Shiel represent the Diamond Jubilee Stakes form, while Extravagant Kid and Lope Y Fernandez have been given the chance to move back to six furlongs. Chil Chil, Glorious Journey, Good Effort and Summerghand could represent the older horses.
Creative Force, Supremacy, Thunder Moon and Method could fly the flag for the three-year-olds at the July Festival. Miss Amulet, Line Of Departure and Rohaan have also been handed an entry.
