There are now less than two hours to go before the historic Cambridgeshire Handicap takes place at Newmarket and the betting for today's feature is really starting to heat up.

Greek Order remains the short-priced favourite, with some firms even cutting the market leader into 3/1 this morning. Here are three morning market movers who're attempting to close the gap on the market leader.

2023 Cambridgeshire Market Movers

Merlin The Wizard - 16/1 > 10/1

MERLIN THE WIZARD now sits closest to Greek Order in the market, after being backed in from 16s during the course of the morning. William Buick's mount has won three of his last four starts, winning nicely on the July Course when last seen back in August.

Bopedro - 18/1 > 11/1

David O'Meara always has at least one contender primed for these big handicaps and the punters are starting to side with BOPEDRO. An impressive winner on the Rowley Mile in the spring, Danny Tudhope's mount landed a decent pot on the July Course on his penultimate start and many fancy that this seven-year-old could still be ahead of the handicapper.

Dutch Decoy - 33/1 > 20/1

One who has been well-backed at longer prices is DUTCH DECOY, who seems to have run in all of the major one mile handicaps this season. Charlie Johnston's six-year-old has placed in major races at Newmarket, Epsom, Sandown and Goodwood this term and could be ready to claim an overdue victory.
