The countdown is well and truly on ahead of the 2023 Epsom Derby, which takes place at Epsom at 1:30pm this afternoon. ITV will be showing the full Derby day card live and money has arrived for several important runners so far today.

Here are five market movers on Epsom Derby day.

Market Movers - Saturday 3rd June

12:50pm Marie's Diamond - 20/1 into 10/1

The 20/1 outsider of the field when the betting opened, MARIE'S DIAMOND has had her price halved over the past 24 hours. Roger Fell's seven-year-old hasn't won often in recent seasons, but Marie's Diamond does travel to Epsom on the back of an impressive runner-up finish at York's Dante Meeting.

1:30pm Artistic Star - 33/1 into 16/1

Each-way backers have come for unbeaten ARTISTIC STAR in this afternoon's Epsom Derby. Ralph Beckett's charge has won both of his starts so far, and bookies have been forced to cut Artistic Star into as short as 14/1, having been a 40/1 shot earlier in the week.

2:10pm Astral Beau - 13/2 into 9/2

Money has arrived for Pam Sly's runner in the Princess Elizabeth Stakes, with ASTRAL BEAU being cut into second favouritism. Shane Kelly's mount won a Listed race at Doncaster on her reappearance and was last seen placing third in the Group Two Dahlia Stakes at Newmarket.

2:45pm Tatterstall - 10/1 into 13/2

Despite an underwhelming run at York last time out, TATTERSTALL has been well supported in the 3YO "Dash" Handicap this morning. Michael Dods runner had been a double-figure price earlier this morning, but Tatterstall has since been cut into 13/2 and could soon be rivaling Estate for favouritism.

3:20pm Vintage Clarets - 12/1 into 7/1

One sprinter who does now top his respective market is VINTAGE CLARETS, who's been cut into favouritism for the Epsom Dash. Richard Fahey's four-year-old comes into this competitive race on the back of two placed efforts this term and former Champion Jockey, Oisin Murphy takes the ride.
