The Ebor Festival draws to a close on Saturday, with the City Of York Stakes and the Ebor Handicap featuring on the day four card. Along with five races from York, ITV Racing will head to Goodwood for a couple of pattern races.

Here are my best betting tips at York and Goodwood on Saturday.

ITV Racing Tips - Saturday 24th August

1:50pm York - Strensall Stakes Tips

See The Fire brings Group One form into this Group Three, and Andrew Balding's filly is greatly respected. Fellow three-year-olds Alyanaabi and Task Force are of interest too, while Enfjaar and Phantom Flight bring solid form to the table.

Another older horse who's worth a second look is ROYAL DUBAI (16/1), who won twice over this distance during a profitable winter out in Meydan.

Marco Botti's four-year-old has run two crackers in defeat since returning to Britain, battling well from off the pace to follow Royal Scotsman home in the Diomed Stakes and to finish a one-length fourth behind Quddwah in the Celebration Mile. Tom Marquand's mount was at his best in the closing stages of both races, and stepping back up to nine furlongs should suit.

2:05pm Goodwood - Prestige Fillies Stakes Tips

If the weather forecast is correct, then the ground at Goodwood on Saturday will be extremely testing. Royalty Bay is the only runner in the field with proven form on genuinely soft ground, but 5/1 isn't a good enough price for me to take a chance on a juvenile in such treacherous conditions.

2:25pm York - Melrose Handicap Tips

The three-year-old's version of the Ebor looks exceedingly tricky. Chances can be given to plenty, but the only one I'm happy to back is SUN GOD (22/1) at a lengthy price.

Hughie Morrison's gelding won nicely at Lingfield in December, and has since gone close in several high-profile handicaps at Newmarket and Goodwood. Sun God is by a hardy sire in Fastnet Rock and he's a half-brother to last year's Lillie Langtry and Park Hill winner Sumo Sam. On breeding, he should improve for this further step up in trip and Luke Morris' mount has got just 8-4 to shoulder.

2:40pm Goodwood - Celebration Mile Tips

Heavy ground at Goodwood would certainly suit ROYAL DRESS (7/1). James Tate's mare has done the majority of winning on juicy ground, including a victory over this course-and-distance in the Conqueror Fillies' Stakes back in May.

Royal Dress comes into this contest on the back of an impressive Group Three victory out in Ireland - the form of which was boosted when runner-up, American Sonja was beaten a head in the Prix Jean Romanet next time out. Billy Loughnane should be able to cope with a low draw in stall one. Hopefully Lead Artist, Poker Face and Sonny Liston will set the race up for a closer.

3:00pm York - City Of York Stakes

If AUDIENCE (7/4) was to win on Saturday, then the City Of York Stakes could be awarded Group One status next year - and another seven-furlong Group One is something that would improve the European pattern significantly.

Rab Havlin's mount proved that his incredible front-running victory in the Lockinge was no fluke at Glorious Goodwood, where Audience powered to another tremendous victory in the Lennox Stakes. Front-runners have prospered throughout this year's Ebor Festival and fast ground will play to Audience's strengths. He could be very hard to peg back.

4:10pm York - Constantine Handicap Tips

Being drawn low has proven to be a huge advantage this week, and Billyjoh is the only runner in the top nine in the market who's been drawn in a double figure stall. STRIKE RED (20/1) has been drawn kindly in stall eight. Yet, he's available at a lenthy price of 20/1.

Richard Fahey's sprinter comes into this on the back of two fine placed efforts at Newcastle and Goodwood. Strike Red is rated two pounds lower than when he won at the Curragh last July and he's a former course-and-distance winner too. Softer ground would be ideal, but Billy Garritty's mount does have some back form on quicker surfaces. He can go well at a price.
