ITV Racing fans have a feast of action to look forward to on Saturday, with eight races coming to us live from across three tracks. Four races will be shown live from Sandown on Solario Stakes day, with Beverley and Chester chipping in with two races apiece.

Here are my best betting tips at Sandown, Beverley and Chester on Saturday.

ITV Racing Tips - Saturday 31st August

1:30pm Beverley - Silver Cup Handicap Tips

A tricky little race. The bookies have it between Quietness and Walter Hartright, who both like to go from the front. Loyal Touch is a front-runner too, and the strong-staying Drawn To Dream shouldn't be too far away.

The race should set up nicely for THUNDERING (8/1), who tends to do nothing and then pop up with one big win every season. Kevin Ryan's five-year-old shaped with promise when third at Newcastle last time out. Thundering is four pounds wrong at the weights, but he's certainly got a big run in the locker.

1:50pm Sandown - Handicap Tips

I like this step up in trip for GLENFINNAN (12/1), who'll be ridden by Oisin Murphy. Michael Dods' recruit won over seven furlongs and a mile during his first two seasons for Andrew Balding, and Murphy was in the saddle for the last of those two wins at Ascot.

Since joining Dods, Glenfinnan has only been running over six furlongs. Dods' four-year-old won a good handicap at Ascot off a mark of 91 in May, but has since found things a little more difficult. Stepping up to seven could open new doors for Glenfinnan, who has plenty of experience running under this sort of weight.

2:05pm Beverley - Beverley Bullet Sprint Tips

Just seven runners will enter the stalls ahead of this year's Beverley Bullet and I'm hoping that the return to quick ground will bring the best out of EMARAATY ANA (7/1). The 2021 Sprint Cup winner ended his time with Kevin Ryan by winning the Rous Stakes last October, and struck on his second start for Jamie Osbourne out in Doha this winter.

Emaraaty Ana finished eight in the King Charles III Stakes on his return to Britain, and didn't handle soft ground over six furlongs at Chester earlier this month. Fast ground and the speedy track at Beverley will Dougie Costello's mount. 7/1 is a great price for a horse with his proven class.

2:25pm Sandown - Atalanta Stakes Tips

I'm in no hurry to back Tamfana at such a short price, and would rather place my faith in fellow three-year-old BRIGHT THUNDER (9/1). Karle Burke's filly ran well on her second career start in the Michael Seeley at York in May, and followed that effort with a comfortable Listed victory over a mile at Chantilly.

Bright Thunder was well-beaten as the favourite in the Prix de Lieurey, but Alexis Pouchin got no run at all on the rail that day and was easing the favourite down a full two furlongs from home. Clifford Lee shouldn't have such traffic problems from stall three, and this lightly-raced filly remains open to further progress.

2:40pm Chester - Livescore Bet Handicap Tips

We head over to Chester now for a 16-runner handicap, where course regular YANIFER (6/1) has landed a kind draw in stall six.

Harriet Bethell's six-year-old has won twice in six starts on the Roodee, including a dominant victory in a Class Two on his most recent visit earlier this month. Oisin McSweeney was in the saddle that day, winning for the third time in four starts aboard Yanifer, who remains handicapped well enough to get involved again.

3:00pm Sandown - Handicap Tips

Balmacara pulled miles clear of a decent field when second to Persica here last time out. That was a mighty run, but a six-pound rise for that two-length defeat seems harsh. Nothing in opposition strikes me as being particularly well-treated, so I'll leave this one alone.

3:15pm Chester - Chester Stakes Tips

A poor run in the Ascot Gold Cup aside, CAIUS CHORISTER (5/2) has enjoyed a consistent season. David Menuisier's star was narrowly beaten in both the Sagaro and the Henry VII Stakes, and bounced back from that poor effort at the Royal meeting with a decent fourth in the Lilly Langtry at Goodwood.

Although softer ground would be ideal, Caius Chorister has won on fast ground in the past. A strong record at Epsom suggest that he'll have no trouble handling this track and James Doyle comes in to take the ride.
