ITV Racing Tips - Saturday 5th June
Race 1 - World Pool Handicap Tips
Mark Johnston accounts for three of the nine runners in this handicap, and I'm going to side with his supposed second-string CHASE THE DOLLAR, who'll be ridden by Andrea Atzeni.
I NAP'd this son of Frankel when he finished last of five on his reappearance at Redcar. Chase The Dollar left that run behind him at Newcastle last time out, going down by just a head to a rival who had run in the Classic Trial at Sandown. There's no doubting Atzeni's mount is still well-treated off just 79, and he could give King Frankel a real run for his money.
Race 2 - Princess Elizabeth Stakes Tips
Parent's Prayer E/W2:35pm Princess Elizabeth Stakes (Sponsored By Cazoo) (Group 3) 1m½fGET 8/1 HERE

Although she isn't drawn particularly well down in stall two, I fancy an each-way punt on PARENT'S PRAYER. Archie Watson's filly travelled over to Ireland and won a Listed race at Naas in October, and ran very well around that same track when second to Epona Plays - who's since won a Group Two by four lengths - in the Park Express Stakes.
Parent's Prayer then ran another strong race when fourth over seven furlongs in the Chartwell Fillies' Stakes last time out. Oisin Murphy's mount will really appreciate this step up in trip, and older horses far outperform three-year-olds in this race.
Race 3 - Diomed Stakes Tips
Marie's Diamond E/W3:10pm Cazoo Diomed Stakes (Group 3) 1m½fGET 10/1 HERE
New customers only. 18+ T&Cs and wagering requirements apply.
MARIE'S DIAMOND ran the worst race of his career at Ascot last time out, dropping tamely out of contention as Oh This Is Us came through to win the Paradise Stakes.
Epsom, however, is a track that often suits bold front-runners, and I'll be expecting Silvestre De Sousa - who gets on well with this horse - to give Marie's Diamond a bold ride from stall two. Mark Johnston's five-year-old was only beaten a length by Space Blues when he last visited Epsom, and he certainly has the quality to challenge in this open race.
Race 4 - Epsom Dash Tips
I'm going to fire a couple of arrows at this prize, the first being BLUE DE VEGA. Robert Cowell's sprinter was really unfortunate not to have won this race in 2019, staying on strongly for third after hitting traffic a furlong out.
Despite a couple of decent efforts this season, Blue De Vega has slipped back to a mark that's four pounds lower than his last winning rating, and he's drawn alongside likely pacesetters in Ornate and Caspian Prince.
Mondammej E/W3:45pm World Pool "Dash" Handicap (Heritage Handicap) (Class 2) 5fGET 14/1 HERE

On the opposite side of the track, Copper Knight, Only Spoofing and Sunday Sovereign will likely set the pace. One who could be well placed to challenge on that side is MONDAMMEJ, who was slowly away at York last time out and couldn't recover.
Antony Brittain's four-year-old won on the only previous occasion he's encountered quicker ground, winning really well at Pontefract in April. Mondammej enters this a pound lower than the mark he ran off at York, and has the natural speed to make an impact.
