The November Meeting continues at Cheltenham on Saturday, with the Paddy Power Gold Cup headlining the action on day two. Along with four races from National Hunt Racing HQ, ITV viewers will enjoy two strong races on the all-weather at Lingfield.

ITV Racing Tips Tips - Saturday 18th November

1:45pm Cheltenham - Listed Novices' Chase Tips

I'm more than happy to take on Mister Coffey, who hasn't won any sort of race since 2020 and didn't particularly impress over fences last season.

Sam Twiston-Davies rides Good Risk At All for Sam Thomas, who won well on his chasing debut at Carlisle. Sam's father, Nigel Twiston-Davies will be represented by both Broadway Boy and Weveallbeencaught, who disappointed a little when placing behind Flooring Porter here at the Showcase Meeting.

The least-fancied of the leading quartet in the market is ALAPHILIPPE (13/2), who was beaten 16 lengths behind Good Risk At All at Carlisle. Fergal O'Brien's nine-year-old got badly outpaced over two-and-a-half miles that day, before staying on fairly well late on. Stepping up to three miles will certainly suit and Alaphilippe has previous at Cheltenham, having been narrowly beaten in the 2022 Pertemps Final. If this race turns into a slog, he could be the one to side with.

2:36pm Lingfield - Churchill Stakes Tips

I've always been a fan of FOXES TALES (10/3), whose impressive victory in this year's Magnolia Stakes stands out as the best piece of all-weather form on offer. Having only run twice during the regular turf season, Foxes Tales travels to Lingfield fresh and brings some decent course form to the table, having finished a close third behind Lord North in the Winter Derby back in February.

2:55pm Cheltenham - Paddy Power Games Handicap Hurdle Tips

Some familiar names feature in this handicap hurdle, including a pair of Grade One-winning novice chasers in Shan Blue and Chantry House, who make their first starts since last season's Rowland Meyrick. Buddy One will have to give weight to some dangerous rivals. Placenet could be extremely well-handicapped off this opening British mark of 124 - given he won two Listed Chases in France and registered a career-high RPR of 144 when last seen in September.

At the prices, I'll take a chance on NOBLE BIRTH (16/1), who was sold to the In Bounds Syndicate - owners of Sweet Will, who scored at this meeting last year - and moved from Gordon Elliott to Eric McNamara back in September. Following a pipe-opener at Gowran Park, Noble Birth ran a blinder in a very good Class 3 handicap up at Ayr two weeks ago, where he was run down in the dying strides by course-regular Glinger Flame. With just 10-2 on his back, he could be a decent each-way bet.

3:11pm Lingfield - Golden Rose Stakes Tips

On ratings, this should be a walk in the park for MISCHIEF MAGIC (5/4), who won the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Sprint at Keeneland in 2022.

Like many of Charlie Appleby's top horses, Mischief Magic struggled during the turf season. James Doyle's mount returned to action with a narrow win at Kempton last month and Mischief Magic is expected to have improved again for the outing.

3:30pm Cheltenham - Paddy Power Intermediate Handicap Hurdle Tips

Springwell Bay is a big player in this handicap, even under a top weight of 12-00. The favourite could have his work cut out giving ten pounds to handicap debutante RESPLENDENT GREY (3/1), who was handed an opening mark of 127 following a ten-length defeat to Captain Teague in the Persian War.

Olly Murphy's five-year-old, who won twice in novice hurdles in April, saw out two-and-a-half miles fairly well at Chepstow, holding Rock House at bay to win the race for second. Resplendent Grey ran well twice on soft ground in the spring and I'd be surprised if he didn't mount a serious challenge under Harry Skelton.
