We've taken a look at all seven races coming to us live from Sandown and Haydock on Sunday and provided readers with our ITV Racing tips.

For the second Sunday in a row, ITV Racing will bring flat racing fans a real thriller of an afternoon. The main event on the day is undoubtedly the Coral-Eclipse Stakes from Sandown, where Enable makes her triumphant return to action.

I've looked through the field for each of Sunday's televised races and come up with my ITV Racing Tips.

Sunday's ITV Racing Tips

Race 1 - Coral Charge Tips

LIBERTY BEACH proved to be a hardy, consistent sprinter as a juvenile. So far this season, John Quinn’s filly has won the Listed Cecil Frail Stakes up at Haydock, before running a blinder to place third in the King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Unlike Lazuli, Liberty Beach has proven form on softer ground and she bolted up in the Dragon Stakes over course-and-distance here last term. She should be able to slot in behind the pacesetter from stall six, and I would be shocked if Liberty Beach wasn’t involved in the fight to the finish.

Race 2 - bet365 Handicap Tips

With the ground turning softer by the hour at Haydock, this is handicap is going to be a long, hard slog of a race. That could play right into the hands of JELLYSTONE, who’s already won two competitive handicaps this season, and could still be open to further progression on turf.

Ralph Beckett’s charge shrugged off his maiden tag with a powerful, front-running seven-length triumph at Yarmouth on his reappearance. Jellystone was then involved in a real fight at Kempton last month, but managed to fend off his rival after a protracted battle down the home straight. I’m hopeful Jellystone will deal with what could be heavy ground and will take well to this extended trip.

Race 3 - Henry II Stakes Tips

The bookmakers are finding it hard to split the protagonists in this competitive staying race. On ratings and experience, though, CROSS COUNTER sits head-and-shoulders ahead of his rivals, and Charlie Appleby’s former Melbourne Cup winner should make his class count this weekend.

This will be the first time Cross Counter has dropped back to Group Three level – big handicap outings aside – since that electrifying performance in the 2018 Gordon Stakes. Two miles is much more to his liking than the 20-furlong trip in the Ascot Gold Cup, and the Godolphin flag-bearer has run very well on softer ground in the past.

Race 4 - Lancashire Oaks Tips

Harry Bentley may have come down on the side of Antonio De Vega, but I think MANUELA DE VEGA is the Ralph Beckett mare punters should side with this weekend. Beckett’s mare may have failed to win during her three-year-old campaign, but Manuela De Vega impressed with good efforts in big races like the Epsom Oaks, the Lillie Langtry and the Group One Preis Von Baden.

On her reappearance, Manuela De Vega made all to beat Fanny Logan in the Pinnacle Stakes here at Haydock. The runner-up, who couldn’t get within two lengths of Beckett’s charge, went on to boost that form with a fine victory in the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot. Manuela De Vega is the one they all have to beat.

Race 5 - Coral Challenge Tips

Dark Vision finally recaptured that winning touch at Royal Ascot, powering home late to win the Royal Hunt Cup. Second that day was MONTATHAM, who was powerless to deny the former Vintage Stakes winner.

Jim Crowley had to drag William Haggas’ grey from stall five to the centre of the track at Ascot, and found very little cover on the outside of the main pack. Although he was beaten quite comfortably in the end, Montatham’s runner-up effort has to be commended and third-place Pogo boosted the form of that Royal Hunt Cup with a Listed victory at Windsor last weekend.

The gap between the two at the weights is three-pounds wider this time around, and I fancy Montatham will be able to turn the tables at Sandown.

Race 6 - Old Newton Cup Tips

Ranch Hand E/W3:15pm Haydock bet365 Old Newton Cup Handicap (Class 2) 1m4fGET 7/1 HERE

With this race looking decidedly open, and several bookies offering up five paid places, I’m going to fire a couple of arrows at this handicap prize. The first of those being RANCH HAND, who won the big staying handicap on Sprint Cup day here at Haydock last term.

Andrew Balding’s charge made his reappearance in the Copper Horse Handicap at Royal Ascot, where he helped make the running before fading back to sixth. That wasn’t a terrible effort, and Ranch Hand looks ideally suited to this sort of challenge.

Hasanabad E/W3:15pm Haydock bet365 Old Newton Cup Handicap (Class 2) 1m4fGET 20/1 HERE
New customers only. 21+ T&Cs and wagering requirements apply.William Hill is operated by WHG (International) Limited, a company registered in Gibraltar. I’d also like to take a chance on HASANABAD for Ian Williams and Sean Levey. On his final start for Dermot Weld, Hasanabad landed a decent prize at the 2019 Galway Festival, staying on gamely over 14-furlongs to beat a rival rated 101 off level weights.

Since moving to England, Hasanabad has been comfortably beaten in two Listed races. He drops back to handicap company here, and has just 9-2 to content with. First-time headgear could make a big difference too.
