The St Leger Festival continues with another excellent card on Friday, which features the Doncaster Cup, the Flying Childer Stakes and the lucrative Mallard Handicap.

Here are my best ITV Racing tips at Doncaster on Friday.

Race 1 - Flying Scotsman Stakes Tips

There's a nice, open look to Friday's opener. Plenty come into it on the back of impressive performances. GUSHING GOLD is the most experienced runner in the field and her recent handicap win at York has been franked on a number of occasions.

Andrew Balding ran his juvenile in the Albany at Royal Ascot, before two more outings in novice company. Gushing Gold then struck on her handicap debut at the Ebor Festival, seeing off two future winners and the subsequent runner-up in the Sweet Solera Stakes fairly cosily.

Oisin Murphy's mount is progressing in the right direction and there's plenty in her breeding to suggest that Gushing Gold will enjoy cut in the ground. 14/1 seems like a generous each-way price.

Race 2 - Flying Childers Stakes Tips

If Big Evs hadn't run in the Nunthorpe, he would be a much shorter price than 7/2. Despite the obvious value that lies with the favourite, I didn't think Mick Appleby's mount really relished soft ground when winning the Molecomb and the form of that Group Three has been let down a couple of times.

On the same day at Goodwood, FLORA OF BERMUDA produced a dominant display to win the Aplice Keppel Conditions Stakes, beating a future Listed winner in Juniper Berries by a widening four-length margin. Andrew Balding's filly looked all at sea over six furlongs on fast ground in the Lowther last time out and she wasn't given a hard time in the closing stages. Friday's conditions will be much more suitable.

Race 4 - Mallard Handicap Tips

I'm happy to give another chance to REAL DREAM, who I backed in the Ebor. Ryan Moore's mount was quickly away from a horrible wide draw, along with eventual winner Absurde. Whereas Frankie Dettori reigned Absurde back in the early stages, Moore allowed Real Dream to stride on, which proved to be the wrong decision, as Sir Michael Stoute's star faded from the front and was beaten a long way from home.

Real Dream went into that huge handicap on the back of a superb win at Ascot, where he comfortably saw out 14 furlongs on rain-softened ground. Although they are both Class 2 races, this represents a massive drop in class compared to the Ebor and I'm convinced that Real Dream remains ahead of the handicapper.
