Envoi Allen's appearance in the Grade Three Novices' Chase is bound to steal the show on Sunday. The following race at Punchestown, though, is the Moscow Flyer Novices' Hurdle, a Grade Two which has been won by greats like Kicking King, Vautour and Douvan down the years.

Here's a look at the current Moscow Flyer betting, followed by our best betting tips.

Gordon Elliott has saddled the last two winners of the Moscow Flyer, and it's his novice, Magic Tricks who tops the betting. The JP McManus-owned five-year-old won nicely on his first start over hurdles, stopping the clock in a time three-second quicker than what Kilcruit managed in the bumper to round off that card at Navan.

Ganapathi will try to hand Willie Mullins an eighth victory in this Grade Two. Paul Townend had to work a little harder than he initially expected to get the 2/5 favourite over the line first at Cork in November. The form of that race hasn't worked out too well since, but he certainly looks progressive.

Mullins could also throw Power Of Pause into this Grade Two, having impressed when beating a good sort in Crosshill here over course-and-distance.

Joseph Conrad is another possible for Gordon Elliott, while Henry De Bromhead could hand Gua Du Large a first start in Graded company.

While it may seem like folly to go against Ireland's top three trainers, I'm going to place my faith in MASTER MCSHEE for little-known trainer, Paddy Corkery.

Master McShee entered plenty of notebooks on debut at Cork, as he crossed the line second behind current Supreme Novices' Hurdle favourite, Appreciate It. Corkery's stable star then cruised to a maiden victory of his own at Cork, beating a future 20-length winner in Atlantic Fairy with great ease, despite giving the mare almost a stone at the weights.

Despite stating he would be giving his charge a rest before a busy spring campaign, Corkery decided to give Master McShee an entry in the two-mile handicap hurdle at Leopardstown's Christmas Festival. Master McShee travelled powerfully behind the pacesetters, hitting the front on the run to the last and stretching clear to win by five lengths.

That handicap was run on the same day that Appreciate It won the Future Champions Novices' Hurdle. Master McShee recorded a time less than a second slower than what Appreciate It managed in that Grade One - a figure made even more impressive by the fact that Appreciate It didn't have to jump the last, and Master McShee jumped it a little big.

It's clear Corkery has a very good novice hurdler on his hands, much better than a mere handicapper. The team's decision to run Master McShee over Christmas, when they had initially planned to skip Leopardstown, suggests the seven-year-old takes his racing well, so I'm not worried about the three-week turnaround.

Master McShee boasts the best form in this race, and he could be even better going back right-handed.
