Leg 1 - Samarrive

First up though, is the 13:45 from Cheltenham and the Paul Nicholls-trained Samarrive can strike in leg one. He is rated to be far superior than these and despite carrying top weight, his class should shine through with Lorcan Williams taking off a handy 3lb.

Leg 2 - Go Another One

Leg Two is that all important bonus race for last week’s lucky winner, and this can go the way of Go Another One, who was sixth in the Kim Muir at the Festival last season. He’s been kept busy over hurdles this summer, but got back to winning ways over fences at Perth in September and should still have room for improvement in his handicap mark.

Leg 3 - Royal Patronage

The final Group One of the UK Flat season makes up the third leg and it may pay to take on the well fancied Luxembourg, who is trained by the out-of-form Aidan O’Brien. Instead, Royal Patronage could be the one to follow after winning his last three and was only narrowly denied by recent Dewhurst winner Native Trail prior to that.

Leg 4 - Belargus

Sky Pirate is the class act in the fourth leg, but the good ground may well be against him and that could open the door for the JP McManus-owned Belargus, who really found some consistency on better ground at the end of last season and can strike again.

Leg 5 - Panic Attack

The fifth leg is also at Cheltenham and Panic Attack can get back to winning ways for the first time since December 2020. The five-year-old has plenty more to come and her trainer David Pipe believes she could be exciting over three miles.

Leg 6 - Dakota Gold

Doncaster’s 16:20 brings today’s Scoop6 to a close and Dakota Gold can prove his qualities in the finale. He’s been running in Group company for much of this season and wasn’t beaten all that far when third in the Listed Rous Stakes at Ascot last time.
