I've taken a look through the full card on day two at Doncaster, picking out my best bets in each race.

12 months after his stunning victory in the St Leger, LOGICIAN makes his long-awaited return from injury. John Gosden's unbeaten Classic winner has just one rival to face here, and I'm expecting a pleasing return to action from the odds-on favourite.

Race 2 - Fillies' Nursery Handicap Tips

There are several fillies who look overpriced in this wide-open handicap. The one I want to side with at an each-way price is JIANZI

Jedd O'Keeffe's youngster was very slowly away on debut and failed to recover. Graham Lee's mount then ran out a convincing winner on her second start at Pontefract, and this opening handicap mark of 75 looks lenient based on that performance.

Race 3 - May Hill Stakes Tips

The bookmakers clearly didn't think much of Star Of Emaraaty's win in the Sweet Solera Stakes, as she even sits behind the runner-up that day, Dubai Fountain in the betting. Two beautifully bred fillies head the market here, and I'm going to side with ZABEEL QUEEN over Indigo Girl.

Andrea Atzeni's mount was a 5/1 shot when she made her debut at Ascot last month, but ran out a convincing winner, beating a filly of Richard Hannon's - who holds an entry in the Fillies' Mile - by just over a length.

Roger Varian's filly is by the great Frankel, and out of a mare who's produced several highly rated fillies. Being drawn out in stall one isn't ideal, but Zabeel Queen should be able to find cover from there, and I'm sure this one-mile trip is going to suit.

Race 4 - 2-Y-O Stakes Tips

Another wide-open race, where a strong case can be made for plenty. At the current odds, the one I feel has been a little overlooked is CAIRN ISLAND, who will be going for a hat-trick on Thursday.

Kevin Ryan's juvenile got off the mark on his second start at Ayr, beating a modest field by over three lengths. At the Ebor Festival, Andrea Atzeni's mount stayed strong at the front to repel 94-rated Perotto and claim his first handicap win.

Ryan has won this race twice in the last seven years and being drawn down in stall 13 shouldn't be an issue.

Race 5 - Park Hill Stakes Tips

Alpinista was my initial fancy here. Now she's out of the running, I'm left scratching my head for an alternative. At the current odds, I'm tempted to take a punt on SNOW, who was far too keen when tackling this trip at Glorious Goodwood.

Aidan O'Brien is often reluctant to add any sort of head-gear or equipment to his horses. On this occasion, he's chosen to fit Snow with blinkers for the first time, and the fact she remains at 14-furlongs shows he doesn't think it was the trip that beat her filly at Goodwood. A much more competitive showing is expected.

Race 6 - Price Promise Handicap Tips

Since beating Enemy a shade cosily at Yarmouth, I've been keen to follow MISTER SNOWDEN. Richard Hughes' charge didn't like the very soft ground at Royal Ascot, but has placed second twice in good quality handicaps since.

Shane Kelly's mount played up before the start at Goodwood, but still stayed on well to finish second behind hot-favourite Society Lion. Good ground will be ideal for Mister Snowden, and he carries a lovely weight of 9-00 into battle.

Race 7 - Doncaster Handicap Tips

My selection in this card-closing sprint handicap is going to be BREANSKI, who's been hitting the crossbar in big seven-furlong handicaps all season.

On his previous starts this term, Breanski has been ridden cold, in order to utilise his turn of foot in the closing stages. Jedd O'Keeffe has only ever tried his six-year-old over six furlongs once before, but I think this trip could really suit Breanski, and he's got winning form around Doncaster too.
